Round Table Knights

Just finished a little story about Round Table Knights yesterday. (see post)!!
First thing I saw, when I opened my eyes and my Soundcloud dashboard this morning, RTK announcing there new Album "Say What"!!  to be released on Made To Play in Februari 2011 with a two track single coming out on December 20th.
So here you go . . .

Blamma! Blamma! once were two. Now they are one. But the beat goes on.

Blamma! Blamma! Struck me this summer with their amazing rework of Stevie Nicks' (Fleetwood Mac)
Edge of Seventeen. The track starts off slowly with that typical guitar riff and those lovely vocals from Stevie, so far a tribute for sure! Evolving into a  faster version the track takes you to a higher level until the moment it drops. You'll find yourself dancing on the dance floor without noticing who or what brought you there... you just can't stop dancing if you hear this at the right volume! A beautiful edit/remix without loosing the sincere feeling from the original song. Sad to say that Beyond 17 was the last project of the two. Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2009, Martin Cole was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away last summer. After much soul-searching, Nick decided to try and release some of the music that he and Martin had been working on and finishing some of their uncompleted tracks. 
After hearing ‘Beyond 17’ his friends Jamie and Nigel, of London act Cage And Aviary, decided they would love to do a very limited, vinyl only, release it on their label The Walls Have Ears in tribute to Martin.

But there is that certain something that nobody can acquire – neither with money nor with effort, that natural charisma or a certain aura. Whatever it maybe the Round Table Knights have it and with the wind at their backs it‘s taken them on a ten year journey from the Swiss province to the high plateaus of contemporary dance music where they have recently pitched their tents in the camps of Mowgli’s ‚Deadfish‘ label and Jesse Rose’s ‚Made To Play‘ label in preparation for the next climb.
