Curious Who?
Curious People are David Hazell and Colin White from London. Together they created a place to share classic disco and new edits, deep house and a little bit of acid. Over the last year Curious People have burst onto the scene with a residency at the excellent bank holiday Discovery parties where they have played with I:Cube and The Revenge.
They are also starting to get well known for throwing secret all night parties in east end pubs.

As promissed!! Here's the newest remix from The Magician for The Aikiu - The Red Kiss. It's an 80s affair all the way through! You've been able to hear it in his magic tape 3 wich I've posted along with his other three mixtapes on our blog before. Check it here.The official release of The Magician's Dub version is postponed to January 2011 on Abracada rec. And to make your week a bit more cheerfull, here's the MAGIC TAPE 5 (dl-link). I think it's a bit different then the first 4 but never the less very magical again. Filled with pretty vocals; some 80ies synths; a bit of a cosmic flavour and a touch of Fasano to complete the job!! Nice work Stephen . . .

The Revenge is the alias of Graeme Clark. This Scottish Disco maestro began producing in his early teenage years, making a skewed blend of electronic music using a couple of his dad's old drum machines and a sampler. Influenced by his parents collection of rock, soul and funk as well as eighties daytime radio and the burgeoning rave scene, he began the process of dissecting and re-imagining the music. Playing everything from house to disco re-edits, Clark is promising plenty of the former for this visit to the church of Slam. Again, it’s a far cry from his original love of rave (‘people like The KLF, Prodigy, Orbital and some hardcore Rotterdam stuff too), but then again versatility has been a hallmark of his career. He has been or still is a part of Deportivo Street Team, OOFT!, Cronk Family Enterprises, 6th Borough Project and The Hong Kong Micros. ‘The names aren’t so much to signify a different style,’ he says, ‘but more to signify a different working partnership'. He likes to work with different people on these projects and that keeps production exciting for him.
